Now I know why I left in the first place.
The trail went cold when I got off the highway.

I never caught the tail I chased. I never got a look at it’s face.
It’s hood I couldn’t place. It always seems that, no matter it’s shape,
I always let the good worry waste.

I couldn’t get it turned around before it’s coat hit the ground.

It sounds so funny now, but I never thought I’d hear the grim reaper say “when will the worry melt - ” I never thought I’d hear the grim reaper say “when will the worry melt away.”
